As a buyer, I have found that MOST agents work very hard prior to the purchase of your home. Once the documents have been signed, and the transaction has been completed, the relationship ends. That is not the case with Amy Serra Albright. I had the privilege of being represented by Amy in the summer of 2017. Not only did Amy act as my advocate during the home buying experience, she continued to act as my advocate MONTHS after the closing of my home. Imagine the surprise I received at the end of December when I opened the mail to find a complete tax package that was prepared by Amy that included copies of all documents that my accountant had requested of me. I live in Texas and had a condo in Michigan that we needed to sell so my sister, who lives in Michigan and has moved 7 times with Amy's help put me in contact with Amy. Amy met with my wife and I (I'm a realtor in Texas so I had a level of expectation going in) when we arrived in Michigan in late January. She came very prepared with a comparative market analysis that listed the condos that had sold and were for sale in the complex and based on that and her knowledge of the market gave us a price we should list it at that was spot on with what we were thinking it was worth. She also gave us great advice on things to do with a 30 year old condo that will help it sell. We then spent a month getting the place cleaned out, cleaned up, repaired and things replaced. During that time Amy was checking in with us to see how we were progressing which is something she really didn't need to do. The one thing that really impressed me was how hard Amy was working behind the scene. Her hard worked really made the difference because when we called her to tell her she could come over on Thursday to see how good the condo now looked and to put her sign in the window she said she had some one that may be interested in it. On Friday we had an offer that was $5000 dollars over our asking price! We went back to Texas and Amy handled the rest of the transaction via phone and emails so smoothly I think we closed in less than a months time and we are talking about the dead of winter in Michigan, not the most busiest time to be doing real estate I'm sure.
