Having lived in the Ellicottville Community since 1969, I have witnessed the evolution of our village and town from a small winter resort to a renown 4-season recreation communit. It has been a wonderful area to raise a family.. Excellent School System.. and now grandchildren who are experiencing a very rounded up-bringing. As a past director on the board of Cattaraugus County Tourism, It is interesting to se how Ellicottville depends upon surrounding communities for varied form of recreation and tourism. By the same token, the other communities have benefited from the thousands of folks who visit Ellicottville Resorts every month of the year. Over the years, many friendships have been made with folks from Ontario, Rochester Vicinity, Ohio, Pennsylvania and, of course, uffalo and Suburbs. Be sure to experience Ellicottville!!
