About Arthur Herling

Art Herling began his real estate career 26 years ago as a sales agent. Since that time, he has enjoyed success after success, first in sales achievements, then as a sales manager for 14 years. Art helped build his office into the number one real estate office in the Delaware Valley and the number one office within the company, with over 600 new homes annually, and an annual office sales volume exceeding $200 Million Dollars. Art was named Manager of the Year four times, and in 1995 he was appointed Regional Vice President at his former broker, making him responsible for 21 sales offices with an inventory containing over 3,500 new home units. When Long & Foster entered the Delaware Valley marketplace in the spring of 2001, Art was a natural choice to lead L&F’s Delaware Valley Region into market dominance and in July 2001, Art joined Long & Foster.

During his career, Art personally has been involved in over 10,000 new home sales, marketing as well as participating in the building process. The home building industry has always been a personal priority with Art. Having been “raised” in the building business, it is only natural that he devotes as much as fifty (50%) percent of his time to builders/developers and new home communities. Art is a member of the Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties, as well as the Home Builders Association of Bucks and Montgomery Counties and New Castle County. Art is highly respected for his expertise and frequently is solicited by Jay Lamont, Robert Trea, Alan Heavens and Gene Austin to offer his “insider''''s knowledge and pulse” of the new home market.

Art's focus for our region clearly is to continue dominating the new homes market as the broker of choice and to expand and develop builder relationships in every market that we serve.

The Long & Foster region under Art's direction will do over $2 Billion in Sales in 2005.
