Barry Fiebert grew up and received his education and college degree in New York, but spent 38 years living in Northern Virginia where he raised his three children before moving to the Lowcountry of South Carolina. He likes to say that he has been “practice moving” here since he built his home in Bluffton five years prior to his permanent relocation. While vacationing in Savannah, Barry and his wife of 34 years, decided to spend the day at the beach at Hilton Head. Driving through the tree covered roads draped with Spanish moss and the beautifully landscaped community entrances, Barry and Donna felt an immediate attraction to the Lowcountry. They headed back north to Virginia, but the tug of the Lowcountry had them return a few short months later.
