    • Cara Pearlman is a gem! She sold two properties for me in relatively short periods of time, at good price points. Need I say more? Cara was referred to me a little over a year ago when I was looking to sell my condominium in NW, DC. There were renters living there at the time, and I was living in another country. I called her and after speaking to her for a few minutes, I was convinced. This year, when I decided to sell my two-family house in NE, DC, Cara handled it for me. Like many of you, I look primarily for two things when I work with people. 1) Competence: Is this person competent? Does she know her business? and 2) Service: Assuming she is capable of doing a good job, is she going to do a good job for me? Cara scores an A on each criterion. Cara knows the market, its trends, and she has a strong network of clients and colleagues. She is a consummate professional when it comes to pricing properties and explaining her rationale for her conclusions... Cara struck the right balance in terms of listening and incorporating my ideas where appropriate, but standing her ground where necessary. I respect and trust her precisely because of her ability to navigate that balance. She will be my first call the next time I have a real estate transaction. You would do well to make the same call.

    • As long time renters with a growing family, my wife and I needed more space. Cara could not have made the home buying process any easier. Cara was thoughtful in her approach to figuring out what we were looking for, and was selective on the potential homes she brought to our attention.     • Cara is energetic, knowledgeable about the market and neighborhoods in the Greater DC area and a pleasure to work with. I would provide Cara a rating for "negotiation skills" but the truth is that Cara worked so quickly and obtained a very good offer that turned into a purchase agreement rapidly, so I never had the chance to observe her negotiating . . . but she must be good at that because we closed successfully at the right price. I give Cara an unqualified endorsement. You cannot go wrong working with Cara Pearlman and her team.
