Where do I start....? We bought a house from Charles and the experience was horrible. He tried to cover up moisture issues in the crawl space but adding a trough to run the water out of a hole that he drilled in the side of the house to drain and said it was repaired only to find out after our second inspection he actually made it worse. Even in the Due Diligence report it said to have "a certified crawl space expert fix issue " which he didn't do he tried to fix it himself , we had to threaten to walk away at closing before he decided to fix it and WE HAD TO GET QUOTES . Then he gave us a personal business check we had to wait to 10 days because of his account to clear before we could hire someone. Didn't leave us with any of the appliance receipts so we aren't covered with any warranty on them, after he told us that the stove was shutting off due to a safety feature, I called the manufacturer they said the thermocouple is bad and needs to be fixed. Then at closing he thought the realtor was my wife even though the realtor was sitting at the other end of the table maybe because my wife and I are interracial but he shouldn't assume especially since he was in contact with the realtor consistently. Then while on a call with the realtor he said that this deal "won't move the needle for him "because he said he was working on a building in Raleigh, and he was acting in good faith. Dude is unprofessional and he actually cut us off on the way to closing in his blue Tesla lol. As I first time home buyer he made this experience horrible with him trying to cut corners and flat out lies. STAY AWAY!!!!! OH And I left out how he tried to say he installed a dehumidifier in the crawl space but during the second inspection the inspector said he couldn't find one after going into the space twice, I drive over to the house on a feeling this dude is there after everyone left trying to put a in house dehumidifier down there after he called the home inspector a liar knowing he never installed one, he said we was waiting for the crawl space to dry out isn't that what the "dehumidifier" is for.
