Clay Burris

Clay Burris was fantastic! He was always readily available to show us properties, which is so important in this fast-moving market. He provided valuable insights on our target areas and discussed his thoughts/concerns on properties openly and honestly. We're new to the area so this feedback was welcome and appreciated. He gave us actionable direction on how to write our offer to stand out in a multiple-offer situation and it paid off. Our closing went smoothly and we love our new place!

Since my wife and I were new to the Indy area, we wanted to make sure the person we worked with was knowledgeable about this area. Another major factor we were looking for in a Relator was someone who would care more about our home buying process than getting his commission check.Some realtors will show houses that are too far outside of the buyers' budgets so they can get a bigger check. We needed someone who was willing to work with what we told him, cared about us, and was an advocate for us. Clay came to the home inspection! That really impressed me. I was fairly confident we had made a good choice in realtors from our previous experiences with Clay (him setting up many open houses, speaking candidly about the homes we looked at, and making sure our first home was perfect for us), but when he showed up at the Home Inspection and and took the time to walk through the house with us that made us even more confident in our decision to work with Clay. Clay was great. He was always there when we needed him. He answered emails, text messages, and phone calls quickly. I, also, always felt as if he had our best interests in mind; he was genuine.

The whole Burris Realty Group team was truly awesome. They took the time to make sure we found a house that would suit our needs. They were patient with us, taking us to see several homes at a time, sometimes with very little notice. They had a great attention to detail, pointing out both the selling points and the flaws of each house (honesty goes a long way). We had a truly excellent experience and we would highly recommend them for both buying and selling.

Clay Burris and the team he has assembled do a wonderful job in all aspects of the selling/buying process. This is our second time using Clay and he has sold our homes in less than a week and a half combined. This isnt by accident. Clay puts together a thorough market analysis and plan before listing your home. From there, he sets realistic expectations on pricing, timing, etc. based on his extensive knowledge of the market. This is the second house we've sold with Clay as well as having bought two houses with him. Again, Clay did an awesome job making this process easy and pain free. This sale was complicated for us due to some personal things going on in our lives. Clay really helped us through this process and made it stress free so that we could focus on the other things we needed to focus on. What I like most about Clay's approach to selling is that he really puts together a comprehensive marketing plan utilizing all the latest technologies to maximize the visibility of our home. We have waited for over 8 years to sell our house, and it's been something I've stressed over for the last few! Clay came over in November and walked me through what we would need to do to get the house all ready to sell. By mid-January, we were all ready. Clay and his team had the house ready to list and answered all of our questions, whether they were by email or text. We had five offers come in within the first 24-36 hours, and Clay walked us through each offer and what the pros/cons of each could be. We felt very confident with the offer we accepted, and about five weeks later we closed! We now have a beautiful new house and are extremely thankful to Clay for everything he did for us, as he was our buyer's agent as well.

Clay has a great reputation that proceeds him. Clay and his team are very responsive. Clay always went to bat for us during our building process, and was a good sounding board to help us keep things in perspective. Clay does all the extras. From providing drinks of our choice at closing to sending pizza and a care package on moving day. Also, follow up communication and appreciation even after the deal is done. Clay was fantastic. From day one, we knew he was a professional who had honed his craft, and we were impressed with the preparedness and experience he had when going through the whole process. We heard horror stories about this process, but Clay coached us through the whole thing and I cant imagine it could have gone any better. No issues, and finished 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Clay was there for us every step of the way. From selections to inspections, he had our back the whole time and made sure every decision we made was well-informed. Weve told our family and friends about our experience with Clay, and we will definitely be working with him again in the future!

Clay and his team, especially Zac Hill, took us through a long search and closing process, with a great understanding of the market, especially this competitive buyers market, with an eye to getting us in the right house. Zac was always prompt, professional with empathy for my families situation. We couldn't be more pleased Extremely patient and up beat. Zac was always available, and Clay would be there as great support which we appreciated. It was not only Team Sheetz and Team Burris, Zac made sure, as he always said, it was Team Fox! It was an extended search for us, lots of ups and downs. Took a couple of months to get the deal done and Zac and Clay guided us through the ups and downs and got us in our dream house! Couldn't be more pleased and they continue to support us after closing.

Clay is the perfect realtor. He goes the extra mile to make sure we feel important as clients, puts in the work to make sure we have all of the information we need, and really makes an otherwise stressful process much easier. We've worked with Clay three times now, and I can't imagine looking anywhere else for a realtor.
