Moving to Oregon in 2001 was the greatest thing ever! Some of you would say leaving a lifetime of San Diego was crazy but I still pinch myself every day. Oregonians are such wonderful people, eclectic, friendly, caring and down to earth. We all want the American Dream and you can definately have it here. The beauty is stunning, the weather is bi-polar, the eccentricities of Portland is like being on vacation in a new country every day. I approach each day with enthusiasm, and hope that spills over into my work in helping my clients fullfill their dreams. I enjoy working for the working class, the first time homebuyers, the new families and the Boomers looking to downsize. I work in residential housing, but I also sell many manufactured homes, in parks and on land. Manufactured homes are the answer for many people, as these homes are affordable and a great alternative to a 30 year mortgage. They are also great for putting on your own land for family members that need closer attention. I am up to the challenge of finding you a home to call your own!

  • Connie helped me buy a home

      We were in the middle of, already in Escrow with earnest money down for purchasing one of the listings that an agent of this real estate company JMA Properties LLC Connie Abell had for a home in Canby, Oregon. We had an inspection done and the home had great many concerns of which were not disclosed prior in any online listings or in the contract. This was not listed 'as-is' nor is it a short sale. However JMA's agent Ms. Abell and seller were trying to sell the home "as-is". When we submitted a repair addendum because of the poor condition of the home, expecting they may come back refusing any repairs JMA's agent Ms. Abell and the seller contacted our real estate agent, saying they were terminating the contract and have already sold the home to another buyer. So our agent told her very pointedly that she cannot do that and they'd be hearing from his company's lawyer over breaking of the contract. It was then that JMA's agent Ms. Abell backpedaled and sent over the refusal to the addendum. So she attempted to break the contract, which neither agent or seller can do before she even sent a refusal to repair any of the defects in the home. JMA's agent Ms. Abell had two contracts for two buyers for the same home, signed and pending. Let me tell you that never in my life have I heard of such an absurdity. My grandparents were realtors for over 40 years and my grandfather was on the board of directors for the National Association of Realtors. They would have thought this as unconscionable! We we're already in escrow but terminated not only due to the undisclosed condition of the home but also because we could not trust JMA's agent Ms. Abell or the seller after these types of shenanigans. When the management staff of JMA Properties was told they were non nonchalant and dismissive about it all. I don't feel we can trust JMA Properties at all if this is an example of how they run their business. I will be submitting complaints to the National and Oregon Association of Realtors as well as the Oregon state Real Estate Agency over this. We've wasted time, endured stress and spent money for the inspection and put our earnest money down for this home. The unscrupulous actions taken by JMA's agent Ms. Abell and the management Gerry Mains. It is real estate agents like this that make purchasing a home an absolute nightmare!
