Isadora Harper

Isadora Harper (b. 1964) grew up in a small town in central Georgia. She escaped at 18, first to Atlanta, then to New York City. She eventually returned to Atlanta to raise her son. As a child, she was classically trained as a pianist and vocalist. Later in her education, she was involved in musical theater. In her twenties and thirties, she wrote and sang with various local Atlanta bands. During that time, she also authored a raucous, filthy novella - The Adventures of Eric: Sordid Savior (self-published and available on www.amazon.com). Though she has always been fueled by a creative urge, she put visual arts aside to focus on philosophy, acting, writing, and making music. She was taken with the need to paint while renovating houses, feeling compelled to treat the walls as canvas. She soon started painting more than just walls and hasn't stopped since.
