Janice Allen is absolutely amazing. It's not enough to say she's good at what she does. She walked through each situation with the confidence of a shark in a goldfish tank. Every time I got stuck on something she sorted it out for me. The very concept of buying a house in another state was foreign to me and Janice made it simple and easy. Not only that but she found me the house that I didn't know I wanted. I am a genuine grade A pain in the rear and she added houses to the list the morning of a showing spree and turns out that's the house I loved the most. I was a first time homebuyer working with a down payment assistance program and a very tight budget in a seller's market. There were very few homes on the market in my price range and even fewer in the location I was targeting. We entered the market and started to look for the 'right' home in late winter while values were ramping up into a frenzy. We stumbled through several agents to look at some homes that interested us. But we were quickly turned off as they only wanted to know what our top end of our qualification was as 'everything' was becoming a bidding war. These agents didn't get to know us or really find out what our goals were. Obviously, we didn't sign on with them. We found Janice from a good rating and called her to show us some homes. Janice was very likable as she casually worked to understand what we were looking for from our prospective. When we finally found something that interested both of us, we did our own research & decided to make a fair bid. When we called Janice with our thoughts, she responded by discussing with us a strategy on how to frame our offer. As we reviewed it and worked with her, we became comfortable as this was inline with our goals. We signed the offer and we're moving into a great new home! In summary, we found that Janice is a very good listener and a fantastic student of the market. She knows her craft!

Janice Allen was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the market and home buying process. Very patient with me and my wife as first time home buyers. Took time and effort to educate us about home buying and never left any mystery at all as to what our next step was. We only had to look at two houses to get an offer accepted (was better than what I expected), which was very appreciated because we both work full time and didn't have a lot of free time to put into this process.
