If you don’t feel like reading all of this, here’s the takeaway: my wife and I have a new home, a new neighbor (Jennie) and a new friend (Jennie). About eight months ago, we began our search for a home in Coppell, with the understanding that our search process would be lengthy. When we first met Jennie, both of us knew right away that she would be a trusted adviser in our search for a new home. Throughout our initial discussions Jennie took the time to learn what was important to both of us, and over the next six months, she consistently put us in front of potential homes, both on and off the market, that were consistent with our priorities. In the seventh month, Jennie re-introduced us to a home being sold by the owner, in Coppell, and we ended up purchasing that home. Ironically, eight months earlier Jennie had mentioned this exact home as: (1) coming on the market within the year, (2) she knew who the seller was, and (3) she thought it would be a good fit for us (Jennie was right). We had many choices when we decided who we wanted to partner with in our search, but we couldn’t be happier that we were able to work with Jennie. In addition to a new home, we also have a great new neighbor and friend.
