  • Judy and I connected, but did no business

      The only way I could say what needs to be said about Judy Stocker is to answer previous questions...with whatevber answer this program would accept. Here's the story: Judy was our BUYERS agent. That means she was opening up our home giving access to our buyers. Our home was empty when it was on the market. We had already purchased and moved into another home. We 'checked' on our home every few days to make sure everything was 'ok', but after accepting the buyer's offer and getting into the buying process (with Judy's clients), came to realize that we needed to be checking every 24 hrs. That was exhausting to have to drive across town every day to make sure a professional did their job. We found that everytime Judy entered our home, she left lights on....left attic doors open so we air conditioned the attic...and left exterior doors unlocked. On one occaision, we went to the home to find FOUR exterior doors unlocked...front door, patio door, door to garage and the exterior door in the garage. Anyone wanting access to our home had MULTIPLE ways to get in there. I called and found out they had been to the home TWO DAYS earlier. Our home had been completely UNsecured for 2 days!!! Our realtor, in an effort to not derail the negotiation process just tried to always 'check' the home after Judy accessed it. That created a LOT of extra work for her...but she didn't want to 'lose' the deal for us by askign this realtor to DO HER JOB properly. By the end of the process and all the stress it created, I almost didn't care about the deal anymore... However, Judy Stocker DOES need to be told to lock doors on homes she shows. This is Real Estate 101! Perhpas this review will serve that purpose. thank you!
