  • Karen helped me buy a home

      I was very disappointed with Karen Baker. As a first time home buyer, one of my priorities was a move-in ready house. What I got was a house that needed repair at almost every level and I wasn't able to move in until after 9 months of repair and an additional loan on top of my mortgage and a serious drain on my savings. I am certain, with her experience in the Buffalo housing market, that Karen was able to see the issues with this house. She recommended the inspector who did a very poor assessment of this house. At minimum, there should have been a more aggressive price negotiation. She was rarely available to me for questions. I had no idea what to do during closing. I was left hanging every step of the way. If you're a first time home buyer... work with someone else!
