When I decided to look for a new home to start over as a new divorcee with three children, the process was nerve wrecking. I was up for the challenge but I had no idea of how clueless I was when it came to home shopping. Laurie moves at the speed you want to move at. I left my last agent because he was too slow and tough to get in touch with. After finding that our first two realtors were unable to meet with us to look at properties the day they came on the market (which was an unfortunate necessity at that time), this wasn't an issue we found with Laurie. Laurie is as a top notch real estate agent. The thing that really impressed me about her was the fact that she was a guide, a mentor and a friend on your side at every step of the way. I had a very difficult transaction that lasted over a year from start to end - she not only helped me navigate all through from start to finish, at every step of the way guiding me. We were relocating to the area due to a job relocation and needed to find the right house in a very short time period. Laurie worked with us first by phone to narrow down what we were looking for and her area knowledge helped us zoom in quickly to an area that would work for us. We were able to come down for only 2 days and she had a selection of homes for us to look at that allowed us to find the perfect home in just 2 days. She then helped us navigate the process and get us to a successful close so that we were able to actually beat the deadline the company had set for me to relocate.

My family and I needed to sale our house due to a military transfer. We knew we would be leaving Florida sometime in the summer, but didn't have exact dates. However, we still needed to begin the process of putting the house on the market. We were very worried about the process and the unknown, mainly because the military still wouldn't give us exact dates and as military people know, nothing is ever set in stone. After interviewing agents, we decided to hire Laurie because of her expertise, her dependability, and the fact that she put our fears completely at ease. Laurie gave us tips on staging our home and also good advice on things to be fixed, such as touch-up paint on walls and removing oversized items from countertops to give the look of plenty of space. She next hired a professional photographer who did amazing photos of our home in the late afternoon/early evening hours. Once the photos were completed, she created a photo tour of our house online and wrote an extensive description of our place for the MLS listing. Our house went on the market on a Friday afternoon. Within one hour we received an offer based solely on the photos and her descriptions. By Saturday afternoon, we had multiple offers with several over our asking price. She went over each offer and helped us to accept the right one. Once the house went under contract she made sure we were always knowledgeable on what was happening, keeping us up to date on timelines, and making sure we were taken care of. Our closing date changed a couple of times because of the military changing our move dates, but she made sure all parties involved were alright with the new closing dates. When little things came up such as a light needing to be repaired or our bathroom fan light needing to be replaced, she made sure it was done. I highly recommend Laurie for selling (and buying) your home. She will make the process smooth and take away any worries you might have.
