I was raised in Indiana and went to college and graduate school in Ohio where I earned my bachelor and master degrees. My first visit to Colorado took place when I was 24 years old. My elderly aunt and uncle had asked me to help them drive their car from Indiana to Phoenix where they lived. I gladly agreed to help them and I remember seeing the Rocky Mountains for the first time in my life as we came through Limon on I-70. I was stunned by the beauty of the mountains. This impacted me so much I vowed to myself: one day I would live in Colorado and make it my home. This vow came true in 1989 my family and I moved to Colorado. Our oldest son, John Mark, was not quite 1 year old at the time . . . now he is 23.I got my real estate license in 1991, the same year our 2nd son, Philip was born . . . he is now a junior at School of Mines in Golden pursuing a career in petroleum engineering.My ...
