“I love Houston’s diversity,” says Melissa Harrison. “Its amazing variety of architecture gives my buyers so many home choices and gives my sellers confidence that in Houston’s cosmopolitan environment, there are buyers from all over the world for every home style.” Melissa is a native Houstonian who spent a portion of her teenage years in Hilo and Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Exposure to the ethnic and cultural diversity of Hawaii gave Melissa a lasting appreciation and respect for people from different backgrounds. “I am definitely a people-person and I enjoy meeting and really getting to know my clients,” Melissa says. “Building those relationships means everything to me, and a referral from a client and friend is incredibly important.” Melissa has volunteered for Special Olympics, Walk MS, and for her women’s group and the youth ministry at her church. She loves outdoor sports including jet skiing, camping and skydiving. Melissa is married and, schedule permitting, she and her husband enjoy traveling.
