From the first meeting with Michael, when he explained the entire selling process, until the day of closing, the whole team was very helpful and responsive, to questions or concerns. The knowledgeable team made suggestions for staging our home for showings and photos for advertising. Their expert photographer did a wonderful job showing the outside of our home, and highlighting each room inside. Each time we had a showing, the team kept us informed of the feedback they received. Just a few days prior to closing, the team recommended their contractor to help with minor touch ups brought up at the home inspection. We would and do highly recommend The Gillies Team to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home.

As someone in the industry, I can attest to the level of professionalism and expertise Michael offered from our first listing appointment. Our home went under contract in 2 weeks (competing offers) and the process was as painless as possible. Michael negotiated competing offers while on vacation attending a family wedding! From initial in-home consultation and assessment through to home sale, Michael Gillies and his team were thorough, professional, patient, honest, straightforward, and responsive. Michael's advice was spot-on. He clearly understood the market conditions, listened to our concerns and intentions, and then outlined a marketing plan that led to direct success. He recommended (and provided at no additional cost) an outstanding home staging expert who provided excellent advice - leading to an effective and highly-marketable videography/photography session (again, at no additional cost to us). He also provided a full home warranty to cover any unexpected large expenses. Michael was flexible enough to get our home listed on the market and on all the appropriate additional home sale sites a full ten days earlier than originally anticipated (when we were able to get it ready sooner than expected). All the early planning and preparation paid off as multiple offers were received within the first week, and Michael responded immediately, expertly negotiating with all parties involved, quickly resulting in a signed contract. Even with an aggressive 30-day closing requested by the buyer, Michael and his team walked us through all the necessary steps, handled all minor changes expediently, and were obviously comfortable with and fully-versed in the processes required for a successful closing. We were extremely pleased with the efforts and expertise of Michael and his entire team. Would recommend him to anyone in our neighborhood (and already have to several).

This is the second home I have sold through The Gillies Team. They have a clear marketing plan set up for sellers and their team breaks down the process to make things move quickly and smoothly. We contacted them early in the process and received feedback on upgrades we were making, suggestions for contractors, and help in determining the best time to put the house on the market. Their staff was extremely supportive-they called to see if we needed help winterizing, and even helped the buyer and their agent better understand codes to move the sale along. Our closing was scheduled the same time one of us had to travel for work and they quickly made adjustments to support us out of state as needed. They made the process as easy as possible for the seller and really understand the market. The Gillies Team is the only choice for us when it comes to real estate!!

A consummate professional who works with a wonderful team. From start to finish, you and your needs are taken care of. I was deployed when Michael listed my home and it sold at full ask days after its listing! From Michael, to the staging team, admin support, and trusted handyman/contractor- the team provides top notch service. I purchased with the Gillies in 2006 and sold with them in 2019. Definitely will use their team again if I am stationed here again.
