She is very organized and quickly picks up on what you are looking for in a home purchase. During the home shopping Patty was able to help us estimate costs (ballpark) of what items we would need to update and had a great list of referrals of home repair professionals she had worked with to get more refined numbers. This quickly allowed us to narrow down what we could except in a home and what we could not for our budget. She then amended her showings to reflect our needs as they were refined. During the offer process she really does an amazing job of managing expectations, always transparent on what to expect and possibilities. I respected that she always had a contingency plan so when we made offers she would strategize what the next steps would be in the event of either outcome. This allowed us to move quickly during a competitive market and we got the house we wanted for the price we wanted! I was really impressed with her negotiation skills; we got early access to a new listing during an aggressive market for a really good deal! After our offer was accepted she provided us with check sheets and information outlining what the process looked like and what areas were essential. Having this information up front definitely helped us plan our future work schedules and let us know what we should be prioritizing. Patty also followed up with us to make sure we didn't have any questions and that we were progressing through our paperwork. During that time she came to our rescue with an impeccable inspector referral after our preferred inspector was not able to make it at the last minute. She is always prepared and quickly navigates through all the mini disasters that occur during the home purchase relay. After our home purchase she followed up with us and was able to guide us to the correct people in regards to several renovation questions we had. Patty is an amazing agent to work with and I look forward to working with her again when we make our next home purchase.

My wife and I first met Patty while we were visiting St. Louis for the first time. We were looking at homes and trying to decide if St. Louis would be a good fit for us. We interviewed many other brokers before selecting one to sell our house. We found out a few things by interviewing the other brokers that helped to select Patty. The things that we found out were, our house was going to be difficult to sell for the price that we wanted because it was one of the largest in the subdivision and one of the highest priced in the subdivision. Many of the other brokers said they could not sell it for the price that we wanted but Patty came in and told us we had a very unique house if we follow her guidelines we would get the price we wanted. With that said we felt Patty was the one that had the best knowledge to sell our house. She helped us stage the house so it would sell fast and we followed all of her instructions. We sold our house in 3 days for the price we were wanting. She was great and a pleasure to work with.

Although I know most real estate agents go through training (I have a cousin who has been in real estate for over 20 years), I have never witnessed the absolute focus, ability to complete all tasks at hand, total devotion to the career/ job like Patty Stellern has. I have bought and sold homes all over the country and I have worked with many Realtor s over the years. Patty's efforts in selling my Creve Coeur home was amazing!!! It was an extremely challenging job in this market and she ran into all kinds of problems with this home including a leaky basement with mold. One by one she and I addressed every issue and she set me up with competent and reasonably priced people to get the repairs done. There were many times when she swept up bugs in the basement and picked up branches in the yard herself! She met workman at the house on a continual basis. She placed many marketing ads and personally held many open houses making signs and fliers throughout this entire process. She was constant with communication and keeping me in the loop over every detail. If this is not the epitome of an dedicated, knowledgeable Realtor I don't know what is!
