About Pennie Smith

I originally obtained my real estate license shortly after marrying my husband of twenty five years. I was working as a CPA/investment broker and needed my license to be able to value my client's real estate holdings. Internet was new and you had to be an agent to obtain the information which today is all on RealtorCom. I fell in love with real estate as it combined all my interests - real estate, business, interior decorating/staging, and working with people. I eventually went into real estate full time. I took a break in real estate due to our growing family (four children in eight years!) and a two year work assignment for my husband in Singapore. But even when I didn't have my license I was active in real estate - purchasing and renovating our homes including investment property as well as running a small townhome association etc. I have been back in real estate full time for many years and I have helped many different clients with their real estate needs - first time buyers/ clients who are downsizing/ clients who are buying a larger home to due to a growing family or aging parents/ clients who are moving out of state/ clients purchasing investment properties etc. I have helped clients buy/sell small condos to large homes. I have helped clients with cash deals and clients who had no cash down and needed deals structured in unique ways so they could move forward. I have worked with foreclosed properties from banks, HUD, Fannie Mae etc so I bring a wealth of information to every client and every transaction.
