As if buying a house isn't challenging enough; buying from 3 states away adds a definite unique spin on the process, but we felt we finally found our home. Finding a realtor is another challenge. After a few failed experiences, we decided to look for a realtor by an email type interview. Shelley was the first to answer and the best that suited our needs out of the candidates. She bravely took our long distance case with grace, ease, and a smile. Shelley's professionalism and good humor never missed a beat when our case became more difficult by the entrance of a difficult diva seller and her less-than forth-coming agent. She drove out and did a viewing with us via phone, pointing out things with her expertise and opinion. Shelly guided us through the whole process and we knew we were in good hands. She answers questions or finds out answers to concerns so quickly you feel like you are her only client (we found out after that she sold 2 houses while working with us). Although the home was a good distance from her she did her best to stand in for us on inspection and repairs when she could (only barred by seller and agent not advising the information). Shelley found the right people to do the inspections. The home inspector had previously (6 months prior) found structural and grading issues that were not disclosed. Shelley advised us on our choices from that point, honestly giving pros and cons of each. Ultimately, due to the deception, we decided to not go through with the sale. While losing a commission on the whole deal, Shelley still went to bat and fought to make things right for us. Thanks to her, she saved us our money, and invaluably, our peace of mind. Though we are disappointed to be back on the hunt for our new home, we have the option to really move anywhere. We hope to find one in Shelley's working area, as she has ultimately earned our gratitude and trust.. While honestly, we would really like to keep her for ourselves, we know we should share. TLDR; We most highly recommend her services. P.S. We also think it is noteworthy to relate that our experience happened during the of the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
