Being a disabled 1st time home buyer, I had no experience with purchasing a home. The house I bought was listed at $99,999. I was told there was a "Bidding war for the house and I needed to bid $108,000. I bid 106k, and was told I might lose it!. Later, I was informed the other bid "fell through" but I still had to pay $106k, because that was my bid. The house has mold problems, no A/C, structural problems, and a very outdated ugly 2nd floor(which still is horrible beacuse I cant affored to fix it), a yard I'm not able to maintain. Also, it didn't have things I specified as must, at least 1.5 baths, lots of widows, and A/C.. Now that I know better, I'm stuck here by myself, which brings to mind a term she used when we were looking, "Death house", because obviously this would be the last house I buy. In addition she provided an "Inspector" who thought the place was great! I should have followed my gut, and not bought this house. I trusted my Realtor (who said she sells around 100 house a year), to find a home where my health would come first.
