In Florida, the concept of selling a property without negotiating repairs is so alluring that \u201cthe percentage of as-is sellers is probably 99%,\u201d reports top real estate agent JoAnn Jacobs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause the market is competitive and it\u2019s so common, it\u2019s just assumed most properties are being sold as-is,\u201d she says. \u201cMost buyers enter the market and expect to make an as-is offer anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n

JoAnn and her business partner and husband, Thomas \u201cTom\u201d Jacobs, have sold real estate in Tallahassee, Florida, for more than 28 years and have completed the sale of 100% of their listings.<\/p>\n

\u201cSellers are interested in listing their home as-is because they want a sale with an easy transaction and a lot less hassle,\u201d says Tom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
