Documents needed before listing your home<\/h2>\n

Original sales contract<\/h3>\n

The original sales contract<\/a> is the agreement you made with the previous owner of your home when you bought it. This contract outlines the terms of the purchase and maps out the \u201cwho,\u201d \u201cwhat,\u201d \u201cwhere,\u201d \u201cwhen,\u201d and \u201cwhy\u201d of the transaction.<\/p>\n

This way, the buyer makes no mistake about the previous owner of the house and the terms and conditions under which it was transferred to a new owner. The sales contract notes the price at which the house was sold<\/a> and elaborates on any disclosures<\/a> about the property that were made before the sale.<\/p>\n

Appraisal from when you bought your home<\/h3>\n

An appraisal<\/a> is a professional assessment of your home\u2019s fair market value<\/a>, determining how much a mortgage lender will lend to a buyer.
