Growing-up in Roanoke, VA, attended Cave Spring High School, playing golf, football, basketball, and baseball all of those formative years. Won the Roanoke City-County Golf Tournament at age 14, but was not able to later compete with the likes of Davis Love, John Inman, Jack Nicklaus, Jr. and others also at school in Chapel Hill at the time. Played intra-mural sports at Chapel Hill, member of the Board of Elections, charter member of the Order of the Bell Tower, SAE social fraternity. Licensed as a real estate salesman by the State of NC summer 1987. Senate of Virginia (1977 and 1987 Legislative Sessions) working as, first, a Page, and then returning as an Aide to Hon. J.T. Shropshire, Clerk of the Senate of Virginia. Fortune 100 thereafter until moving to Sea Pines down on the ocean on Hilton Head Island, SC, on January 1, 2000 and here ever since. The Pattisall Group was started later in 2000 and has been operating continuously ever since. I was born and raised a Hoosier but fell in love with the Lowcountry when I first visited 37 years ago and made a vow that one day I would make my home here. After graduating from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana with a BS in Medical Technology. I began my career at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Through a coworker and friend I met and married my husband Kent. We then went through a series of short transfers with Kent’s company taking us to Dallas, Charlotte, Columbia, SC and lastly to Cleveland. I continued throughout in my career in laboratory medicine in different hospitals in each city we lived. My last twenty-six years were spent at Lakewood Hospital (a division of The Cleveland Clinic Health System) first as a Medical Technologist and most recently in Laboratory Management. When my position with the Clinic was eliminated, I saw it not only as an opportunity to make a move back to South Carolina but also as a chance to follow another dream of mine – a career in Real Estate. I am so excited to be able to take my people caring skills from the medical field to the real estate market. Kent and I have two daughters, two sons and 3 grandchildren with a fourth on the way. Our kids are scattered across the U.S. in great vacation cities of Chicago, Boston, Columbus and Chicago. In our free time we love biking, golfing, hiking kayaking, reading, discovering new restaurants, traveling and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.
Having moved to Hilton Head in 1978 as a teenager, it just seemed natural to me to be involved in real estate. I first launched into real estate with Marriott Ownership Resorts (now Marriott Vacation Club International) in Timeshare sales. I then served as a Property Manager for The Daufuskie Island Resort & Spa. While on Daufuskie, I soared into real estate sales working for Tom Beavor. Shortly thereafter, I went to work for John Cardamone and Craftbuilt Homes, LLC, (now Village Park Homes, LLC) selling new homes in Bluffton. I have developed trusting relationships by listening and comprehending each client's unique circumstances. I provide solutions to client's obstacles through my skills of problem solving and comprehension of their needs. My attention to detail enable's me to act as a strong advocate for my clients to accomplish their goals. I believe The Lowcountry is the Crown Jewel of South Carolina and that the people and the lifestyle are vibrant. I love the experience of assisting buyers and sellers to achieve their dreams! I'm an enthusiastic member of the community and enjoy the beach, kayaking, biking and the best that The Lowcountry has to offer. I hand-picked Carolina Realty of The Lowcountry because I wanted to be affiliated with a quality-oriented group of people that epitomize God, family and integrity. "It's all about the lifestyle."
