I have been a Realtor here in the Gorge with Don Nunamaker, Realtors for 15 years & have totally enjoyed the experience. The Columbia Gorge is a fabulous place to live and play, & I would love to help you locate a home here, just as I did 20 years ago. I was born & grew up in Northern Canada, spent my college years at University of British Columbia & taught school in Vancouver for 12 years before immigrating to the US. In 1981 I visited the Columbia River Gorge for the first time as an avid windsurfer & knew eventually I would call Hood River my home. In 1990 that dream came true & for my first years of residency I ran a windsurfing school & was fitness director for the Hood River Sports Club. In 1995 I decided that Real Estate would be my next profession. I jumped into it with great enthusiasm & energy, & began to work at Don Nunamaker, Realtors. I'm proud to say that I have been the top agent in the company ever since. My partner Paul's little joke is that I should be, as I only work half time: 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. While my days are long, the freedom of my job allows me to windsurf, trail run or kite everyday. I love it!
