Aaron first stepped foot in Durango in 1990 and relocated to Durango in 1996. Now some 26 years later, Aaron brings a wealth of local knowledge fueled by his love of the mountains. Though Aaron is a born and raised Chicagoan, he was drawn to the outdoor life at an early age. He’s spent a great deal of time traveling in Canada as well as the western & northern United States to feed the need to be in the great outdoors. So when Aaron first saw Southwestern Colorado, in all its beauty, was during one of his cross-country motorcycle tours, he instantly knew that this was the place to live life to the fullest and raise a family with a quality of life rarely seen anywhere.
