We were lucky to work with Aaron Wilder to find a condo in the Seattle Downtown area in December 2017. Both my husband and I are extremely type A so it was difficult to get into something we know nothing about and relinquish control, but working with Aaron was extremely straightforward, fun, and gave us a lot of confidence. Hes very adept at explaining the ins and outs of homebuying, the industry and local trends, what certain market behaviors signify, and speaking from a place of experience. We were quite impressed at how proactive he is -- prepping for home tours, finding us other homes to view, communicating with us and other agents, conducting analyses, and taking care of any other behind-the-scenes-work in a timely and professional manner. The thing that sets Aaron apart is the level of personal service you get: he is very aware of different personality types, communication styles, and negotiation tactics which goes a long way in industries that are about people as much as the products. He kept us looped in every step and answered all our questions expertly and thoroughly. In terms of Aaron's team, we were impressed by their track record in the Seattle area and also the fact they have their own dedicated website (which Aaron follows up on to see what youre favoriting and what not). But mostly, consumers choose to work and stay with certain companies (as well as recommend certain companies) because of the people who work there. After all, companies are only as good as their employees. In this case, that would be Aaron. When we finally purchased our condo, it was actually not one that we had found for ourselves. It was one Aaron had actually found (according to our search criteria) and asked us to view. Like I said, we were impressed with how proactive he was. Closing happened very fast and Aaron on top of everything (from negotiating and explaining the contract terms to gaining access to additional walk-throughs). Overall, I highly recommend Aaron. In working with him as our realtor, he was responsive, attentive and offered a lot of information about our options and how to win in multiple offer situations. Aaron was patient with our changes in schedule or if we were indecisive but he never pushed anything on us or made us feel uncomfortable. He let us find what we were looking for and gave us objective feedback about anything that could be a potential problem. When we found a house we both liked, Aaron worked with us to put together our first offer that was a winning bid against 4 others. Highly recommend Aaron Wilder for any buyers. This man is a miracle worker, he is not one of those agents that took you to the place to show you only the good things about property. But he educated me about the house, also he made sure to look for expensive problems that I was too hyped to pay attention to.
