Alan was the second broker we listed this property with. It was not the easiest property to sell in some ways - it was close to the freeway, the main house was relatively small with only 2 bedrooms and the main bathroom and kitchen were both representative of the house's 1936 age. We also had a 2nd structure on the property - permitted as a "rumpus room" that added square footage, a 3rd bedroom and a 2nd bath, but it wasn't connected to the main house. Still, Alan created a web site with beautiful professional photography of the house and marketed it relentlessly with broker opens, open houses, local ads, etc. Once we had an offer, his attention to detail and follow-through were impressive, since my partner and I run our own business, and were looking for a new house at the same time. Bottom line, we got a good price, with excellent service from Alan and his team led my his outstanding assistant Michelle.

I would definitely recommend Alan Taylor and give him 5 stars. It's a scary thing, buying or selling a home, and you really need to have someone you can trust and feel confident in. Alan Taylor has handled 2 transactions for me in the past few years: one selling a home, and one buying a home. He's very smart and very professional; I always feel comfortable working with him, he's very honest. Alan was very thorough in researching the property and spent many hours going through all the tedious details that must be researched when buying. His assistant, Michelle, is awesome, she's really bright and very efficient; she also helped a lot in moving things along with the escrow and the loan processing. From writing the offer until close of escrow, it was under 40 days. Alan and Michelle did a fantastic job of moving things along and getting me into my home, which I really love! For my first home sale, I listed my house with Alan on August 1st and we closed escrow on September 8th. That pretty much says it all. But, I will add a few other things. Alan brought in a great photographer to photograph the house for internet pictures. He did a very thorough marketing job on the internet (Facebook and other sites) and he did a great open house weekend. He also recommended a staging company (Color Me Sold) and they did an excellent job staging the house for the photography and the open house. I would say that's probably why we got an offer and closed so fast. Also, I want to add that Alan helped me to find a really good contractor to do some renovations, which had to be done on my house prior to selling it. The contractor he recommended was very ethical and did and excellent job. Alan really helped me with all aspects the sale. He's easy to work with, he's smart and he's got integrity. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good realtor.

This was my very first home purchasing experience so you can imagine the whole process was completely unfamiliar territory for me. I initially had a broker take me around to show a me a few properties. After literally going out TWICE!! he tried to high pressure me into making a decision on five properties saying "well this is it as far as inventory which one is the one you like?". Safe to say I was turned off and decided to go it on my own for awhile. Month's later I met with Alan and his team were top notch from beginning to end. Not only did he not try to pressure me into anything, he did the opposite! Several time's he was objective about properties I liked! pointing out a laundry list of reasons why that may not be the right fit for me.. After he broke down the negatives it was clear that I had dodged a bullet by listening to him. More than once he saved me from bad choices that I almost made . Thankfully he did because shortly after I found the one! my dream home! From setting up the lender, inspections, appraisals, contractors, pool, and chimney guys etc.. Alan has been selling homes for a long time. He has a good eye for what looks right, and what doesn't in a home you are interesting in selling or buying. Alan has a very competent and responsive support staff, and communication with him or his team was always easy. We had a lot of people view our house, and Alan had it sold 3 months from our listing date. Finding a new house was very stressful, as it took a long time to find the right property. I thought we were going to be homeless, but Alan and his team helped us hit a home run in the bottom of the 9th with two outs. As a result of his quick negotiations, we were able to make a seamless move from our old home to our new one without having to put our belongings in storage.
