I came to Annapolis in 1969 and have lived downtown most of my life. I attended local schools (Annapolis Elementary, Severn, Annapolis High School and Key) and I married my high school sweetheart, a true Annapolitian, and we have three wonderful, fun girls- one in high school and two in college. When I was in high school, I took a vocational test that recommended I become a real estate agent because of my interests and my self-reported strengths. When I graduated from The University of Maryland, I sold real estate until I got married and my husband and I moved to Daytona Beach so he could study at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. It was a challenge finding a job in Daytona with an English Literature degree and I ended up teaching 2nd & 3rd grade and working at the local board of REALTORS.
