          Zander and the Lurie group are awesome. I needed to sell my condo last year, and Zander had lots of great ideas on how to get it done. This included ideas on how to fix it up (including what wasn’t worth doing) as well as contacts and personnel to get it done. He was never pushy, and if I didn’t like any of his suggestions he would come up with another plan. If any of my ideas weren’t realistic, he was very good at explaining why there was maybe a better strategy. The effort that they put in was extraordinary. They kept me updated on what was going on , and it seemed like they answered his phone and email 24/7. A few of my neighbors commented to me how often they saw them around the condo even when I wasn’t around, and one of them was so impressed that she also hired them to sell hers. These guys really hustle and they know their stuff.

            After meeting with Tabre and talking about what type of home we were looking for, Tabre took us on a tour of both on-market and off-market homes. We were impressed with how well the homes we visited matched our criteria and Tabre was able to answer all of our questions which made us feel comfortable. After Tabre provided us with a thorough market and comparable analysis, we made an offer on a home in Cow Hollow. After the offer was accepted, Tabre managed the transaction though the escrow process and we closed promptly on time.               Buying your first home can be a daunting process, not-to-mention the challenges one faces in the competitive San-Francisco market. Alexander and Brad not only knew how to navigate the landscape, but they tailored the entire experience to fit what I was looking for. Alexander is a class-act and true professional. When I first connected with Alexander in person, he took over an hour drawing up and explaining the "Home Buying 101s of SF." He recognized that I was uncertain about the complexities of home-buying and made the extra effort to help put me at ease. Later on, when we were assessing whether to offer for a certain property, Alexander wisely advised against based upon hidden issues and inflated valuations. It was conversations like these that cemented the level of client-care this team prioritizes. Brad is an absolute all-star - his work ethic, hustle and tenacity was special to witness - he is incredibly responsive and will do everything possible to position you for victory. I was enamored by his detail-orientation, coupled with his awareness of when to be aggressive. The team's level of expertise was off the charts, but what impressed me the most was their trustworthiness. At no point did I feel like I was a means to a commission. The Lurie team put my interests before their own, treating each open house, showing, offer and ultimate deal as if they were in my shoes.                 I was a buyer in this transaction and was referred to The Lurie Group from a friend. I worked with Zander and Brad. I met with them and told them what I was looking for (including Zander taking the call from vacation). A week later I started to receive custom results from their system that learned my preferences and recommended other properties based off of those. We saw a house I asked to look at during week 2. It wasn't ideal and I shared why with Zander and Brad. The following week we were scheduled to see 3 places. One of the three didn't show because it had an accepted offer before we were set to visit. We saw place 2 and before we even left the property fully to visit place 3, I was ready to put an offer down. Within three weeks we had an accepted offer (including some concessions from the seller that Zander and Brad suggested negotiating) on a property they had suggested that matched the majority of my list of wants. They are true professionals and general all-around nice guys. I had an exceptional experience.

                  I can't say enough positive things about Alexander. I was referred to Alexander by my lender, and he was described to me as a savvy and attentive agent who always does right by his clients. This was certainly my experience. In our first meeting, he started by walking me through his process and asking a variety of questions to understand my goals and constraints. He immediately set up a property search and coordinated a number of open houses and showings. Throughout the process he gladly offered guidance and well-informed opinions. His personality and approach was exactly as described to me, and perhaps more important, he was a pleasant and down to earth person to interact with. In the middle of my search, my situation unexpectedly changed and I didn't end up completing a transaction through Alexander (or any agent), yet he continued to provide advice and even recommendations for service providers and contractors. I would, without hesitation, work with Alexander again, as well as recommend him to others that are looking to buy or sell real estate.

                • The Lurie helped me buy a home

                    I met Brad and Zander two years ago at an open house when I was just starting my search, and I just closed on a property in December. So, given the fact that I was regularly emailing, texting, and calling these guys every week for at least 2 years straight, I feel that I can leave a well-informed review. In your property search, you will meet so many real estate agents at every turn, wanting to work with you. But, it’s not a very personal experience writing down your contact information and receiving listings that are sent to you based on whatever you jot down in that 10 seconds. Brad and Zander sent me my listings, but they remembered who I was and called me to make sure that the filters they set were correct. Out of all the real estate agents I spoke with (and there are too many to remember), they were the only ones who reached out to make sure that we were starting out on the right foot. This really set the tone for what it was like working with Brad and Zander. My family and I basically sacrificed our social lives to go out and look at properties every weekend to every other day. Brad would follow up weekly and ask us if there were any properties that caught my eye, and he and Zander would check them out and provide us their feedback. They would also read all the disclosures with us and answer any questions we had. EVERY week! In addition, they would send us off-market properties and their recommendations (apart from the auto-listings). Brad would also often meet us at some of the open houses--There were many a times when we would plan our open house touring schedules together, and he would give us his opinion on the condition and pricing of the property right there. When we finally found a property we liked, the transaction quickly became a high-stress situation because of outside factors, including a non-responsive lender. Brad responded to each situation quickly and professionally, and was communicative throughout the entire process. This was really the moment that revealed to me who I had been working with the past 2+ years, and I was relieved that I had chosen to work with them. I don’t think I could have been in better hands. We managed to get an awesome deal, and Brad still emails me to check up on how things are going with the property, and liaises with the previous owner if I have any questions. Of Note: Although Brad and Zander focus mainly on SF properties, they are not unaware of the market outside of the city. In fact, the property I ended up with is on the Peninsula, and we managed to get a fair price because of Brad and Zander’s research results and negotiation skills. Tl;dr Both Brad and Zander are very responsive, professional, honest, hard-working, dedicated, and thorough. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy property, be it residential or commercial.

                      I feel very lucky that we had Brad and Zander helping us get our first home. They were very responsive and clearly understood what it took to get a house in the competitive SF market. They would strategize with us, enabling us to act as quickly and effective as possible. The whole experience only took 4 weeks until we landed a great home and during that time we were in regular communication with both Zander and Brad. At one point, Brad gladly worked late on a Saturday night to help us jump on an off-market house. We bid on three houses (landing the third) and each time, we were close even though there were 10+ bids because of Brad’s guidance and attentive communication. It was an exhausting month, but it would not have been successful without Brad and Zander. Even during escrow experience, Brad made sure everything went as smooth as possible and helped us first-time buyers through the occasional tricky situation. Aside from their real-estate prowess, Brad and Zander are great guys. They both have wonderful personalities and it was fun to work with them. Anyone would be lucky to have them on your side as you try to buy a home in the Bay Area. These guys can make it happen!

Since I was leaving town, I also needed an agent who I could trust. The Lurie Group was the right choice. Alexander accommodated special requests and preferences as I prepared to relocate.                       • We were fortunate enough to randomly run into Alex during our home search of another property. There was an open house in another unit in the building we visited and Alex was showing the condo. Although we didn't have an appointment, Alex took his time to show us around and listened to what we were searching for without the typical sales pressure tactics that we have encountered in the SF real estate market. We knew right away that we have found our broker. Alex then invited us to his office and spent an hour pinpointing what we were searching for in a home. He was able to address our concerns and we really felt that he was working hard on our behalf to find the ideal unit. A few days later, Alex told us he has found a unit that fits what we were looking for an introduced us to Lumina. We expressed to him that we really wanted to purchase one of the units and Alex went above and beyond in making sure we achieved this goal. He was very well connected with the developers and sales office so he coached us through the application process, making himself available 24-7 to accommodate my bi-coastal schedule. His insight on what to write in our application and also how much to bid so we don't overpay allowed us to find our new home and feel really good about the financial details of the transaction.                       • Buying a home for the first time is intimidating enough, but even more so in the hyper-competitive market in San Francisco. We met Alex early on in the process, after one of his co-workers introduced himself, and eventually Alex, to us while we were stumbling through our first open house. Alex walked us through every step of the process, never failing to honestly and openly answer every question we had - and as first home buyers we had plenty. When we found a place we liked he was able to negotiate a price under the minimum price the owners had claimed they wanted, even though there were multiple bids on the condo. The price was right on, compared to other condos sold in the same building. We impressively went from initial bid to getting the keys in less than a month, and Alex was instrumental in making that happen. He assisted us on completing the multiple steps toward ownership, from getting the inspection to nailing down the loan to filing the proper paperwork with the county. He even helped us find a contractor to fix minor issues after we bought the place. He continues to follow up with us over six months after his official job was over, making sure we are settling in and offering to help us with any issues we face as new home-owners. His dedication to us throughout the entire process, and his continued commitment today, is testament to the energy and devotion he pours into his job.                       • Alex aka Zander is a great buyer's agent. And that is particularly valuable because he works in one of the most competitive market in the nation. In just the past year, he has helped 2 of my friends buy their SF residences and then just about a month ago, he helped us buy our first home! What is great about the experience is: between the 3 houses my friends and I successfully bought, we put in a total of 4 offers. All 3 houses are in District 9's best blocks and that is Zander's specialized area. He is always on the phone and he negotiates really hard. In our case, in a competitive multiple offer situation, we got a counter offer as the second highest bidder, and actually won the house without increasing our bid price, only great terms.
