We were searching for our first home this summer and a little lost on where to begin. We had contacted someone through a website and scheduled to see a house, but the realtor did not make us feel very good/comfortable about the process. As some may already know, I'm kind of opinionated and like to ask a lot of questions, but this realtor would talk over me and direct everything to my husband. To say the least, we knew we had to find some help! My mother referred me to Amanda and said she would take excellent care of me- and that she did! She took the time to call me and chat a bit about how the process would go, never made me feel pressured, and made sure I felt comfortable asking her questions anytime. When we met with Amanda, we felt like we knew her; she was very warm and welcoming and truly cared about helping us find our dream home. After spending the afternoon together, we chose the first house she showed us and we have been SOOOO happy ever since! I cannot express enough how simple and relaxed the process has been with Amanda! She was patient and kind to explain everything each step of the way, and took care of the paperwork promptly and efficiently. She gave us the sweetest house warming gift and stays in touch still to this day. At our closing, Amanda made sure we knew this was not the end- we are family now! Amanda helped us find our very first family home in April 2017. It was challenging with a new baby and both of us working, while searching for homes on the north side where we want to send our daughter to school. But Amanda made it completely easy for us and could not have been more gracious and helpful. She was patient and flexible to our demanding schedule as well.
