I had a million dollar home in Southlake, Texas which had been on the market for almost two years with two different high profile agents. After the second listing agreement expired in 2005 I listed with Barbara. The home was under contract before the ink dried on the feature sheets. Not kidding. I had to start packing. The prior agent spent too much time on the golf course and sent an assistant to the showings. He had also talked me into lowering the price while Barbara insisted the previous price was the correct value and she listed it for the higher amount. When I needed to sell my Villa in Keller, Texas in 2009 I called on Barbara again. During a down market, the home was sold at a great price while others in the gated community sat much longer. My late wife was a real estate broker and I know a bit about agents. Barbara doesn't pull the listing tricks to get you to sign the agreement for more than you can possibly get for your home. Then come back with excuses why you should reduce the price months later. I have always said, "Any agent can list you home, but the real champion is the one who brings the buyer". Many agents list and hope the property sells to get a commission. They make little effort after that. Very few are successful at both listing and selling. I learned through my experience with Barbara, that she can do both listing and selling while handling your listing in a caring and professional manner. The seller has to be realistic about their property because Barbara can't do magic even though it appeared to me she had some mystical powers.
