Had the displeasure of being forced to work with him during the sale of our home. The realtor we signed with had something more important to do and left us with Mr. Grooms. He called, badgering us about the pool (which is 44 years old) to sign an addendum for any work done on it. The buyers bailed and it took us 24 hours to contact him to learn that he lost the sale. We asked him to call, he was busy. We fired both he and the agent we hired. Horrible experience and he even went onto threaten us. I would highly recommend anyone else other than Mr. Grooms based on our treatment. In my opinion, he is highly unprofessional. Update - Multiple emails regarding cancelation of contract today (Saturday) We agreed to the price for the Realtor, but still refuses to cancel the GAG order on his contract, therefore, we will not sign until such is remedied. Please see his letter to us below: Michael, I have requested to have the photographer provide the invoice verifying your photos, the ad run I will need to validate. As promised I will waive the $250 for the cancellation fee however because of digital postings made against Melinda I will not cancel the brokerage release without written assurance against liable, slanderous or deflationary comments against Florida SunCoast Real Estate or me as owner.
