Benjamin Ray

Benjamin was born on the West Coast, but grew up on the East Coast in Wilmington, NC. He moved to Raleigh to attend college at NC State University to study mechanical engineering. After 2 years in Raleigh, and one semester studying overseas at Melbourne University in Australia, he decided to change degrees and graduated with a degree in Christian Ministry from Morningstar School of Ministry in Charlotte, NC. He spent 8 years in the Queen City while making frequent visits to the High Country to go backpacking on many of the surrounding trails. Falling in love with the beautiful natural surroundings, he decided to purchase his first home off the Blue Ridge Parkway as his retreat from the city.
