Bob Gauger is awesome. I live in Nevada and needed to sell my mother's small home in Leonardtown. After traveling to interview six agents in person :/, I wasn't entirely happy with any of them (though a couple were okay). I had finally, mentally made my choice when I was at an event in Utah, of all places, and I was given Bob's name. I called him out of courtesy to the people who gave me his name, because I didn't think it would impact my decision, but ...WOW!! I could immediately tell that he was the agent I'd been looking for: very knowledgeable, personable and professional, and didn't blow me off because of the small size of the house. I chose him over those I had met in person. He provided timely follow-through and amazing attention to detail. He was extremely helpful with services that I needed to hire from afar, and he quickly found a buyer at the price I was looking for. The negotiation and transaction went very smoothly, and he fully represented me every step of the way. On the day of the closing, I made it a point to fly out again to thank Bob in person and shake his hand. I've only done a few real estate deals in my life and have to admit that this one was flawless. I highly recommend Bob for any of your real estate needs.

It is with great pleasure and satisfaction I write this review for Mr. Gauger. Mr. Gauger assisted us in the sale of our house. He is a highly skilled professional who is well versed in all areas of his profession. He gave us guidance in what to do to have our house show at it's best and had a selection of tradespeople for us to consider. Mr. Gauger pulled us through a few difficult timeline problems but made sure that we closed on our schedule which was of utmost of importance to us. We moved from Indian Head, MD to another state in the west coast a little over 2 years ago. In 2019, we decided to sell our Maryland house that we custom built over 30 years ago. We wanted a professional who we can trust and who will look out for our best interest in selling our house. Bob Gauger was referred to us by an Internet real estate referral service along with a few other top real estate professionals serving the Southern Maryland area. After reviewing their experiences and qualifications, we decided to limit our in-person interview to only Bob and one other highly qualified agent. We were so impressed by Bob’s market analysis and his client focused approach to listing and selling our house to ensure that we get the best price for our house that we selected him as our agent without any hesitation. He worked with us to set a fair market price without pressuring us to make costly improvements that we may not be able to recoup. Unlike many real estate professional, he was not interested in listing the property at an aggressive price to make a quick sale. His sole focus is to ensure that we get the best price for our property and be totally satisfied with his service. We accepted an offer within a couple of weeks of listing on MLS. During the prolonged inspection and negotiation process, Bob helped us immensely by securing quotes and arranging highly qualified contractors to perform all the necessary repairs on our behalf in a timely manner. However, due to unreasonable demands from the buyer, we were not able to complete the transaction. Bob totally supported our decision to terminate negotiation with the initial buyer. Bob also supported our decision to raise the sale price of the property to account for certain repairs that were identified in the initial house inspection. Upon receiving a subsequent offer, Bob again arranged to have qualified contractors to perform necessary repairs identified by the second house inspection and negotiated judiciously with the buyer to obtain the best sale price for us. Since we were not able to be present at the property to monitor the performance of the contractors, we totally relied on Bob’s presence to ensure contracted work is performed timely and satisfactorily. We honestly believe that we could not have found another real estate professional who would provide the same level of service that Bob provided, all without additional compensation. Bob is a very personable, patient, responsive, and highly experienced real estate professional. He has exceptional knowledge in all aspects of real estate transactions and looks out for the best interest of his clients. He has outstanding knowledge of the local real estate market to enable him to provide accurate fair market analysis of the value of your property. He is willing and able to support his clients in securing quotes from highly qualified contractors and arranging for necessary repairs that may be needed to complete a real estate transaction.
