My family and I worked with Brian from December 2018 through January 2019. We leaned on Brian heavily for additional realtor support because we were looking to purchase in Port Orange while living in Jacksonville. Brian was excellent with helping us understand local HOA costs and covenants as well as personally traveling to the City Permitting Office to ensure that our swimming pool specifications would comply with local building codes. Because we have small children, my wife and I wanted peace of mind with conducting Radon testing before purchasing ( I know, Radon isn't as prevalent here compared to northern states). Brian was extremely helpful with setting up a Radon test since we didn't live locally. Communication was excellent, all texts, emails and voicemails were always followed up promptly with solutions and answers. Our family requirements for house, neighborhood and schools were challenging to say the least. Brian was extremely patient with our requests, changes and our schedules. Brian Madsen was our Realtor. He showed my husband and I a number of homes and negotiated a contract to purchase one. He was there for us every step of the way. Brian Madsen is an excellent realtor. We closed a home with him in late February. He was great to recommend a local loaner company when some issues arised with the initial loaner company that I'd chosen. Mr. Madsen made sure he told his contact within the company of the struggles that our family was going through w/ the process; therefore we didn't have to repeat our concern. We were first time home buyers when we met Brian, we actually had another agent and call Brian just to get some advice on a property he had as his listing which we viewed. Right off the bat he was very professional and gave us the advice we needed although he was not our agent at the time. To make a long story short, he eventually became our agent :) Our first meeting with Brian he took the time to sit and explain everything to us, we never felt rushed and felt very comfortable and at ease. He was able to break down all the real estate terminology for us to understand. As first time house buyers we were a bit intimidated with the whole process. I worked with Brian to move from Tennessee to Florida . Every step along the way was new to me, and I really wanted to find a realtor who would be patient in guiding me. Brian was extremely patient with my questions and with my lack of familiarity with the process. He helped me negotiate with the sellers to get a deal that worked for me, and he did not rush my decisions. I never felt that he gave me advice that he wouldn't have given to his family, or that he was concerned with his own interests over mine. After we agreed on a price, Brian continued to help by standing in for me on the home inspection as I was unable to make it. Brian is a true professional in every sense of the word. He always responded to any question that we had in a clear manor, He listed our condo and sold it in a month. We had it listed with another firm for 3 months and were truly impressed with how fast Brian and Exit Realty performed. This will be 2nd investment property that we have purchased through Brian Madsen. The 1st one was very easy all the way through to closing.
