I wish I did more research into finding an Agent that specializes with First Time home buyers. Especially in a process with buying a home, making a huge life purchase, you do need your hand held and guidance throughout the process. I did not receive that with this team. I felt like I was bothering them whenever I called or emailed for answers. I was seeking more guidance from my family and peers who have already went through the home buying process. Their office worker Sharon’s customer service is very poor. I didn’t know I was going to get passed down each day, usually you work with one Agent and they see you until the end, that didn’t happen here. Myself and my peers were confused. No one from Long and Foster accompanied me during closing, I worked with the sellers Agent who also invited me to brunch, paid for brunch and bought my flowers and a sold sign to take pictures. He felt sorry for me. I will be making a formal complaint to Long and Foster.
