We visited FL in 2016 with the idea of starting the process to look to purchase a full-time home for our fast-approaching retirement. We started by looking in the Tampa and Pinellas areas. However, on the suggestion of a couple of family members, we decided to check out a few open houses in Sarasota-Bradenton. We met Bruce and his wife Michelle at one of those open houses. We were very impressed with them and their knowledge of the area and were quickly convinced that Sarasota-Bradenton better suited our life-style.We kept in email contact with Bruce for many months after that. In these emails he patiently answered our questions regarding FL and specifically the Sarasota-Bradenton area. We returned to FL approx. 8 months later, and Bruce and Michelle showed us a few houses that were available in our price range and meeting our specific criteria.It then took us about a year to prepare and sell our house in Massachusetts. Bruce stayed in constant contact with us the whole time. Once our house in New England was in escrow, Bruce and Michelle took us on a whirlwind search for our new home in Bradenton. They kept strictly to our wish list and price range and did not waste our time at all. They ultimately found us a house that was above the high end of our price range, but it had everything on our checklist. Bruce being the master negotiator that he is was able to get the price down to what was affordable for us.We have been in our house almost two weeks now and love it. It meets all of our needs and wishes.Thanks to Bruce and Michelle for sticking with us during this long journey and putting us into our perfect retirement home.
