Originally from Whittier, I have lived in Honolulu for over 30yrs. When it came time to sell my Mom's Whittier home several years ago, Mom wanted Carla. I flew over to meet Carla and experienced instant likeability.I had not seen my Mom's home in many years as Mom always came to Hawaii to see me. I was shocked at the great state of disrepair this once beautiful home in one of the nicest area's of Whittier (Friendly Hills) had fallen into. My Mom who had been on her own for many years in a home that was much too large for her to keep up and had been living happily in a small wing of the home as the rest fell apart. And it was bad! More than I wanted to take time or money to repair. An As Is sale it was.Carla never made us feel embarrassed about having let it get to such a state. Instead, she encouraged us to see the bright side; nice neighborhood, home had good "bones," someone out there was going to love remodeling & making it their own dream home. She was absolutely right! I would also like to point out that Carla & I completed the transaction over the internet & phone calls as Mom and I had gone back to Hawaii. Mom was ill, I was a newbie to real estate dealings and also not very computer savvy. Carla was extremely patient, helpful and made sure I understood all my options. My worries of having to handle the biggest business transaction I had ever done AND from afar were quickly allayed. And now, Carla and I are about to work on our second real estate transaction together, once again, from afar. I can highly recommend her as a hardworking, get 'er done, caring agent. I am impressed that altho' she mainly seems to deal with luxury homes, she is not shy to take on smaller homes no matter what state they are in. Proof being our upcoming partnership. Its hard to know where to start when praising Carla Lowinger. Simply stated, she is great!Carla is a lady and a real professional. She knows her business thoroughly and doesnt miss a beat. When we sold our home in La Habra Heights, so we could move into a retirement home, she knew very well that we were hurting deeply to be leaving the place we loved so much; her understanding was very much appreciated.
