Carol grew up in Memphis Tennessee, did her undergraduate in Texas, married a southern California man, earned a Master’s degree from the University of Memphis all before settling in Colorado where she has been married for 25 years to a firefighter. She has raised three boys, the oldest of which is attending Western State Colorado University in Gunnison. Her two younger sons attend High School in Erie where the family has lived since 2003.
