Carolyn Easley

"Hearth and Home" are concepts that have motivated Carolyn Easley all of her life. It is what led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics and the impetus for a successful 32-year career as a secondary home economics teacher in high school and middle school, the last 27 years of which included three years in Spring Branch and 24 years in Katy where she and her family have been residents for almost three decades. For Carolyn, developing the critical skills necessary to create a happy and efficient household went far beyond the traditional views of home economics. There needed to be a focus on the “economics” part that included family finance and the kind of planning and know-how needed to truly manage a household.
