Cathy Brooks is the BEST realtor in Tampa Bay area!!! She works very hard to find you the home of your dreams, in fact, she won't rest until she does it. She is very knowledgeable and a MASTER on the craft of negotiation!!! She goes far beyond her duties!!! We love her!!! She found us our dream home (far more that we expected) with very little to work with in no time at all!!! She sure made this process, which before her was being stressful, much easier for us! We recommend her to everybody!!!!

I would highly recommend Cathy Brooks. Purchasing from out of state, I relied heavily on Cathy's knowledge of the area, and her honesty. She patiently and completely answered all of my many questions, visited properties, took photos, and did whatever she could to find the right house. She was there during the inspection, and was able to provide me with several different companies to choose from to have some maintenance work done. There was never a moment when she did not respond to an email or a phone call. By relying on her advice, we got a great house at a great price! I think I am going to miss her!

Normally when I am in the market, I like to have a buyers agent working strictly for me. I once had a bad experience using the sellers agent to help me negotiate a home in Colorado. It was far from help. If it hadn't been for Cathy squeezing me into her busy schedule on a Sunday, I never would have been able to purchase the condo of my dreams. This condo was new on the market. It just hit the MLS the day before I believe, and I was sure it would sell before the weekend was over. After calling four other agents, she is the only one who would show it to me before Monday, at the earliest. That would have been too late as there was another contract pending, but hadn't yet been approved and signed by the sellers.She is honest, ethical, straight forward, and happy to go out of her way to help. Not only with advice on my offer (which was a tiny bit over the asking price), but with everything including some title problems, a contract extension, and my HOA approval application.......all the while keeping me constantly informed as to the progress and what was expected of me. Above all else, she is very knowledgeable of the local market and a pleasure to be around. I am so glad I contacted her. If any time in the future, I have any real estate business in the area, or simply need some questions answered, you can be assured I will be calling on her. She's the best! ...and I'm not kidding. Oh, by the way, I very rarely write reviews.

Cathy Brooks is just what you would want in a real estate agent. She knows what she is doing, she is appropriately aggressive, persistent and thorough. She worked hard and did not waste time. Cathy was able to do what she told me to expect. The market appraisal was accurate and the first weekend the property was listed there were several bids within $5K of the asking price. The winning offer failed as the buyer moved too slowly and eventually the sale fell through but Cathy contacted the previous offers to see if they were still interested. One of them reconfirmed their offer. She explained to me in detail the process for moving the sale from an offer to a completed sale and then moved the sale along and a couple of months later everything was complete. I do not live anywhere near Florida and we were able to do this by telephone and email.

Before working with Cathy I was beginning to think all realtors were 'hands off' these days and left you to do the majority of the work yourself, but she was the exact opposite. Cathy was an EXCELLENT realtor. We were first time home buyers and we could not have been more happy with the assistance she gave us.She was responsive, offered us a variety of areas and home types to look at as well as got us in quickly when a property listing was opened up. That is what got us our home!
