Kari Mangola

My experience with the Cathy-Kari Team was exceptional. They were very knowledgeable about the area I was interested in purchasing. They were hands on and were always available to answer any question I had regarding the transaction and closing process. My significant other and I saw a home listed on Zillow in Moorpark, Ca. On the listing was an option to “request a tour” as a first time home buyer. This seemed like the natural thing thing to do if your interested in viewing a home. An associate by the name of Kari Mangola that works under Tina Hare & Associates contacted us to show us the home since she was local and lived nearby. Months later we decided to purchase a home and use a real estate agent that better fit our needs. Mind you, we never moved forward in signing or going to the extent of making an offer through Kari. The week we moved into our house we were making a stroll through the local costco to get some essentials for the new home. While in costco we were aggressively approached by Kari Mangola and she began yelling and making a scene in the middle of Costco because we did not use her as our agent. She accused myself and my significant other of “wasting her time” because we used another agent that better suited our needs for purchasing our home. I was completely baffled in her response with the unprofessionalism. Kari proceeded the conversation in stating “I hope karma gets you in your line of work”, was something again, that was completely disrespectful coming from the fact that I work in public safety. It is completely unacceptable and I highly discourage anyone to use Kari Mangola. It is unfortunate because I have heard many good things about Tina Hare & Associates. My recommendation would be to stand clear of Kari Mangola as your agent. Buying a home for the first time should be an exciting and happy time for any buyer. Just be aware that if Kari Mangola is involved make sure you tread lightly, because she does not show her true colors in your first interaction. This is not a negative post towards Tina Hare & Associates, but if Kari Mangola is your point of contact I highly suggest requesting a different associate to begin and process your transaction. After all of this, I’m sure glad I went with the path I thought better fit our experience. Her behavior and lack of professionalism has proven my point in wanting to choose a different agent with starting this process.
