My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better realtor. He answered all of out questions and told us exactly what to do to get on track on owning out own home. He was also there anytime we needed him to be. I would defiantly recommend him to anyone.

Chris is a genuine guy and a great realtor. We immediately felt like he really wanted to help us find our first home in Lake Norman. You can tell that he cares about his clients. Responses and follow up were always timely. Things and rules are very different here and Chris helped us navigate through them all with ease. Chris was a pleasure to work with while helping us find a new home in the Lake Norman area during my relocation from New York. He was very attentive to our home wants/wishes list and was patient with us as we evaluated many existing and new construction homes in the area, covering the entire east and west side of Lake Norman. Chris was great to work with in selling my house. I question EVERYTHING, sometimes more than once and he was very patient and customer focused. I was anxious to get my house listed and did not want to wait for the professional photographer so Chris came by (with broken ribs) and took pictures of my house himself! I put my house on the market at the end of April/beginning of May, 2013 and shortly thereafter was offered a relocation package through my company. The relocation company usually assigns a realtor to you that they have worked with and are familiar with their process. I already started the process with Chris and was very happy with the service I was getting so I asked Cartus (relo company) if I could pick my own realtor. The answer was yes, but Chris would have to register with them, fill out weekly market analysis & a laundry list of other requirements. I felt terrible and thought for sure he would say no, but I called him and told him the deal and he said no problem! My house sold in 3 WEEKS!! I was able to move to Florida and start my new job without having the stress of paying for 2 places to live. My friends & family kept saying "what great timing" and I thought no...what a great realtor!I am very picky about who I work with and I can be pretty demanding. I have bought & sold more than one house and have had not so pleasant experiences. In fact, my experience with the realtor I had to purchase my house in Florida recently - not so good! I say that because I truly can compare & don't usually write reviews. Buying and/or selling your home can bring out a host of emotions. You want to trust your realtor as you invite them into your home, share personal information and spend a good deal of time with them. I trusted him 100% - it was like having a friend take a huge load off my shoulders. If you want someone you can trust, someone who has respect, someone who listens and is focused on your goal - I would recommend Chris any day!Tracy

Chris Durant was wonderful to work with. This was our first home buying experience and we wouldn't have made it through the process without him. He knows everything there is to know about the Lake Norman area. He took us to see beautiful homes that matched our budget and wish list. The offer process and closing went smoother than I ever could have imagined. He eased our worries and anxiety and was incredibly supportive. Every time we needed to contact Chris, he responded almost immediately. We never had to wait for an answer to any question and feel he gave us valuable information when it came time to sell our house but especially when we negotiated the purchase of our new house.
