I bought my home from Christine 03.21.2025 in Marietta, GA. Last week, just a year and three months later, my ceiling fell in. Around 350 SQFT of it. I had a structural engineer come, who said it looks like there was extra weight added to the ceiling when attempting to smooth it and other areas of the house, which caused it to fall in. Furthermore, it may have been done to cover cracks that would've been showing due to major structural issues in the crawlspace, which has an attempt at what he believes to be an unliscensed repair not to fix the fact it isn't up to code, but to hide the fact the issue existed prior to selling. Fixing the foundations of my house he estimated will cost me 20k for the required beams alone, not accounting for the ceiling that has fallen in, the ceiling that looks like it's about to fall in, and the labor required to do any of this. The day I moved in, Christine stopped by my house to offer me to contact her if I needed any work done because she "knows a lot of contractors in the area". I reached out to her on the phone to ask her which contractors she used on my property. She replied she didn't use any and she did a the repairs herself; which means either she did the work causing my house to start falling in or she lied to me. She has since refused to respond to my emails.
