We recently decided to sell our home in Southeastern Massachusetts and start the search to find a new home on the North Shore of Boston so we could be closer to our Daughter, her Husband and our 3 Grandchildren. We asked the Realtor handling the sale of our home for any recommendations she may have for an agent for the North Shore search for our new home. She sent us Christine's profile to look over and we decided to contact her to set up a meeting to get a feel if she felt like the right agent for our North Shore search. Since our very first meeting with Christine both my wife and I knew she was the right agent for us. She listened to us and asked numerous questions of us so she could get a true understanding of what we were looking for, price range, location, size, amenities, condition and style. Christine explained the dynamics of the market in the area, explained which cities and towns we should consider that would best meet our wish list expectations and gave us an overview of property values and tax rates for those areas. She immediately set us up to receive listings that she felt would best fit our expectations. The market was tight with limited homes for sale and a multitude of buyers looking for properties. Every time we contacted her for additional information on a property she responded promptly, always followed up and set up numerous showing appointments with us. She kept reminding us that the search for a new home is a marathon and not a sprint and that the right property would come up. She was right, after several months of searching the "right" property did come on the market. As soon as we saw the listing we contacted her and told her we felt the property might be the one and could she set up a showing for us. She got right back to us with a showing time the next day. She informed us that the property was going to be well received and it would be a competitive process due to it's location, condition and views of Salem Harbor. When we expressed a strong desire to purchase this property she kept us informed, and set very specific timelines for us to follow if we were serious about getting the property. She made us aware of the current market, gave us market reports for recent similar sales and answered all of our questions so that my wife and I could come up with an offer that we felt would be very competitive, without being above what the property was truly worth. After some back and forth negotiations we were able to buy the property and when we had the property accessed we paid right at it's current accessed value. Christine stayed with us every step of the process from the inspection, P&S to the closing and all the little things that came up. She not only became the agent that we would highly recommend, she also became a person we now consider a true and trusted friend - She is a great person who loves what she does and gets great satisfaction helping others find the home they love.
