My husband and I have moved many times across the US and Canada, but first decided to buy a home for our move to Lubbock. At the recommendation of a colleague from Texas Tech, we worked with the Whisenhunt Group at KW, specifically Ruben Trujillo as our buyers agent and Hannah Ives as our point-of-contact on the administrative side of things. From our first interactions with the team, through our visit to Lubbock to look at houses, to making an offer and ultimately closing on our new home, weve been extremely impressed with the Whisenhunt Group and would not hesitate to recommend them to colleagues and friends. Ruben took exceptional care to walk us through the home buying process step-by-step: checking in about possible homes via email and phone before we traveled to Lubbock, carving out several days worth of time to show us homes hed found for us (and some wed found ourselves) during our trip, connecting us with a lender to get a mortgage pre-qualification, and ultimately making an offer on our dream home. Ruben provided great insights as we toured different homes, highlighting aspects of homes that were unique and/or concerning, while also not pushing his own priorities or preferences onto us - it really felt like we were in charge, with an exceptional advisor at our side. Even though he works with lots of clients, he made us feel like we were his top priority! Once we made an offer on a home, he guided us through the whole process, coordinating inspections for us, as well as getting estimates for repairs to the home, all after wed left Lubbock and returned to Pennsylvania. He and Hannah stayed in touch throughout the closing process, connecting us with people we needed to reach, answering our questions, and making sure we knew exactly what would happen and when during the entire thing. We closed on the house remotely, and although that made us very nervous, Ruben and Hannahs skills and calm demeanor helped put us at ease. Hannah even ran over to the house last-minute the day after closing to let in an unexpected delivery for us! Cole Whisenhunt and his team did a wonderful job for us in selling our rental house in Lubbock. They were spot on with their real estate knowledge and pricing recommendation since they know the market in Lubbock so very well. They gave us regular updates on the status of showings, agent feedback from the showings, and other activity on the property. They were also helpful in getting some things done to the house to get it ready, making great recommendations to us for house cleaning and carpet cleaning. From the beginning, Cole has been professional and personally invested in walking us through the process of selling our house in Lubbock. A process we have had little to no experience in.
