This was my first homebuying experience and Colin was wonderful. He is knowledgeable, responsive and definitely helped to make me feel more at ease with the (nerve wracking) process.

Colin did a terrific job helping us find our dream home. He is very professional, patient and savvy. We really appreciated his hard work and patience.

Colin was the first real estate agent I ever worked with when I recently started looking for a home to buy. He was always incredibly patient and answered all my beginner questions with all the detail I needed.He set up our first private tour of a property, and when we met, he gave me a really great overview of what to expect during the whole home purchase process, without omitting any "fine print" details, so I felt like I always knew what to expect to happen, how much I was going to have to pay for everything, etc.When we found the property that we ended up purchasing, he offered to give us a 2nd private tour, on the weekend, and during sunset hours, so we could see the views from the house during that time. He stayed with us for over an hour answering the million questions I had. That is just a great example of Colin going above and beyond.Colin was also a rockstar during the negotiation process. One thing that gave me a ton of confidence that Colin was acting in my best interest was that he recommended lowering our initial offer number. Given that realtors stand to benefit from the highest purchase price, this was a great sign to me that he wanted the best outcome for me, and not for himself. Throughout that day, he spoke with me on the phone whenever there were any updates, helped calm my nerves, and shared his thinking as far as what the best game-plan was. And we ended up getting the house! Despite the many other offers, and the fact that this was only the 2nd home we put an offer on.I can confidently recommend Colin. He was friendly, kind, professional, and very effective!

Met Colin through Zillow when searching for some homes and he was a great guy from the start. Never over stepping but extremely helpful, knowledgeable and appropriately persistent. My wife and I had been looking at homes for 2 years but couldn't get anything accepted due to contingent offer process and he brought some information to light that no other agent we had relationships with, that ended up allowing us to move forward with the buying and selling process. And not only did he help us get our goals accomplished but he helped us get a premium price when other agents in the area that are the "experts" gave us list price and projected sell price much lower than Colin. His confidence, knowledge and expertise really helped our family and we are very grateful!

Colin is so thoughtful, so responsive, and definitely knew the area. He acted quickly, was very easy to communicate with, and was thoughtful about understanding my priorities in the process. Was a total pleasure to work with, I'd highly recommend! Colin was a great real estate agent throughout the time I worked with him this year. Since I began looking for properties in the Berkeley Area, he was on top of his game in sending me locations that made sense and planning visits to the properties. Once I chose the property that I would purchase, he helped me through a complicated purchase and made sure that the process was as straightforward as it could be. As this was my first home purchase, I thank Colin for being an advisor and teacher in the realm of real estate. He made sure that my interests always came first and that I would be getting a good deal at the end of the day.

After working with 3 previous agents - we were always impressed with how prepared Colin was. He showed up to every walk with inspection reports on the phone and comps in hand.10/10 responsiveness - always texted back right away.

Colin responded to my inquiry on Zillow within a few hours. He then helped me arrange a viewing at the house, and handled all of the negotiations and legal documents for me. He stayed very calm and composed through the negotiation, and secured a much better price than I would have negotiated on my own. He followed through on the closing, and even helped me to move in some of my furniture on move-in day.

We had a great experience with Colin as first time home buyers. Colin was patient, calm and very helpful in guiding us through the process and available to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. We highly recommend Colin, especially if you are going through the home ownership process for the first time and would like someone who can guide you through it without being pushy or aggressive.
