Collin was a huge help as we navigated buying our first home. He was professional and responsive, and really went the extra mile helping us figure out the buying process. Not only did he patiently show us about 30 houses before we found the right one, he put us in touch with an excellent mortgage broker and home inspector, helped us negotiate some necessary repairs with the seller before we closed, and even sent us referrals for contractors months after we closed when we decided to get some work done. Collin was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we will use him again if we ever decide to sell!

Collin helped my spouse and I purchase a condo in Seattle. While we knew the general part of town that we wanted to live in, we were not sure whether we wanted a condo or townhouse, or the specific area. Collin showed us numerous condos and townhouses, and was amazingly helpful in pointing out things for us to think about for each place and neighborhood, which helped keep us objective about all the places were were viewing. When we found the place that met all our criteria (and that we fell in love with), he met with us and patiently explained the process of making an offer, and worked with us to create an offer we could afford and that was likely to be accepted. He walked us through the whole closing process and what to expect, making a confusing and complicated process feel straightforward. Collin communicated regularly with us throughout our home buying journey, making something that felt overwhelming (buying a home) feel easy and fun!

We were first time home buyers, so we needed to really trust our agent. After meeting Collin and spending some time with him, we immediately knew Collin was honest and trustworthy. He was extremely patient as we took each step closer to buying our home. We ended up putting an offer on a foreclosed bank-owned property. This was a complex process, but Collin explained each step along the way ensuring we knew what to expect. At times, I grew frustrated with the process of buying a property from the bank, and Collin gracefully reminded us to keep our eyes on the future. I tend to get into the weeds on the details, but Collin was able to pull me back out and handle those details on his end.

Collin is a great real estate agent! He was always responsive, always timely, and was able to coordinate pre-inspections and sewer scopes on some short offer review timelines. We certainly valued his opinion on home conditions and valuations. We would definitely recommend Collin Horn.

Collin was a distinct pleasure to work with. When he or his team took us out to view properties, they were always prompt and informative. They always followed up with the answers to any questions we had. Once we found the house we wanted, Collin was vital in our securing it. It was a Thursday afternoon, the house had gone on the market on Tuesday morning, and there was already a competitive offer down. He patiently explained the entire process of putting down a bid with us (it was our first time!) and sent in the offer swiftly. That same evening he worked with the listing agent on their counter offer and kept us informed of every step over the course of two hours. Thanks for Collin's precision, speed, and good advice, we reached mutual that evening -- 60 hours after the house was first put on the market. I would highly recommend Collin: he's smart, no-nonsense, and calm. I believe these are vital qualities in this high-stakes market.

Collin is great, and very knowledgeable in his job. He provided great advice and insight when it came to our home-seeking adventures. Once we found our dream home, Collin's job didn't stop there and he was with us every step of the way. He also provided great recommendations, and we were able to close at such a fast pace.

Collin was a fantastic resource through the home buying process. He is incredibly responsive at all times of day or night. As a home buyer, he didn't leave me hanging on any particular step, and he proactively reached out to each involved party (escrow, lender, selling agent, HOA, etc.) to make sure I was informed about next steps. He is willing and able to go all over town to make sure you're taken care of. For example, to help me close on time, he drove me all the way from Cap Hill to Othello in the rain for my final walkthrough. Unfortunately the selling realtor took away the keys before the walkthrough, so he drove me all the way back to Cap Hill. A few hours later he drove back to Othello to spin up a Facetime so I could still get a virtual final walkthrough to work around my office schedule before 3pm for Escrow release. Then he drove back out to Othello later in the day to get the keys. The selling realtor didn't return all the keys, so he drove out to Bellevue to get the keys and back around Cap Hill to hand-deliver them.

I had an overall stress free positive experience. As a first time buyer he really helped me understand the process.

Collin was absolutely incredible to work with! He helped me purchase my first condo. As a first-time home buyer, I had plenty of questions, and Collin was happy to answer them all. His response time, especially for anything remotely time-sensitive, was super fast, which I definitely appreciated. During the process, Collin's perspective was extremely helpful. He knows the ins and outs of condos and their HOAs and provided a ton of information in that area. He quickly figured out what things mattered the most to me in my search and was also able to provide the right amount of his own perspective. I always felt like Collin's goal was for me to find a place I'd truly love, not to make a sale happen as quickly as possible. We toured quite a lot of places, and when I finally found something I wanted to put an offer on, Collin wasted no time in coaching me through the offer process and getting the offer submitted. Speed is so important in the Seattle market, and Collin operates at warp-speed, but with an impressive level of attention to detail. On the place I purchased, it was thanks to Collin's advice at approaching the offer that I secured the place despite a few competing offers. Left to my own devices, I think the home would've gone to another buyer! I'd recommend Collin to anyone looking for a new home. He brings a sense of calm to a stressful, anxiety-producing process.

Collin helped me find a home to buy in Seattle. He was great to work with - friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. I was not familiar with the area, and first began looking online, before I moved here from the Midwest. I would run questions by him often, and he would show me - and my friend who was helping me look - places I wanted to “see” by doing a walkthrough of the property with us connected via Facetime. Collin would reliably point out the pros and cons of each property. In order for me to feel comfortable buying a property here, I needed to familiarize myself with the market. I had to figure out how much I was comfortable spending to get something I liked, that was marketable, so a good investment. I asked Collin lots of questions, and he patiently answered them. I asked his opinion on numerous occasions - ie., would a property be more marketable in area A or B. I trusted his honest assessment. His rationale made sense to me. Collin’s expertise was priceless. Housing is expensive here, and a lot more than I’m used to spending. As much as was possible, I was comfortable with my decision to purchase the townhome I did in West Seattle, in no small part because Collin helped educate me on this market. He was also supportive with related home buying things - such as helping me measure windows to purchase window treatments. He went above and beyond when he helped me move my heavy hitch-mounted bike rack from the basement parking lot up to my temp apartment, since I didn’t think I could do it alone without shattering glass doors along the way, pressing elevator buttons, and the like. Overall, I had an excellent experience working with Collin, and would work with him again. I recommend him to others looking to buy or sell a house without hesitation. In addition to his vast knowledge of the market and buy - sell process, he is supportive, low-key, and has his client’s best interest in mind.
