Malika came into my life at exactly the right time: my (now former) realtor was slacking, and I wanted out. Granted, the types of transactions I was doing were low in dollar value, and the commission is just not worth most people’s time. Malika is that rare realtor who cares more about the client and closing the deal than the associated commission. She is a consummate professional, and her work ethic is top tier. She works extremely hard on every transaction, whether her cut is $500 or $50,000, which is truly incredible and admirable.  She represented me on the buying side several times and offered me honest advice without pressuring me on anything. Our most recent transaction together was the sale of one of my properties, and she worked tirelessly to market it and personally emailed hundreds of potential buyers’ agents. When I wasn’t getting the offers I wanted, she used her magical tactics to create a bidding war, and I received over 10 offers in a single weekend, including several that were within an acceptable range. Unfortunately and shockingly, the buyer we chose walked at the settlement table, and Malika was probably more upset than I was. She takes personal responsibility for the success of each transaction and the satisfaction of her clients. Luckily, after my house was put back on the market, I eventually closed with an even higher selling price! Malika also insists on attending all closings- even though I told her she didn’t have to come!- because she wants to make sure there are no issues and because it’s the proper thing to do. In addition to her professionalism, hard work, and decades of industry experience, Malika puts her heart into her relationships with her clients. She is caring and honest and always has a positive demeanor. On the first day that we went out together to look at properties, I wrote in my diary that day, “I like her energy.” One year and many transactions together later, I stand by that statement. Malika is a wonderful realtor and person, and I can't recommend her enough!
